Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between the customer (“You” or “Client”) and Horizon Travel, a travel company established in 2021 and headquartered in Chandrapur, Maharashtra (“Company” or “We”). Horizon Travel is the parent company of Tripsvale, and all transactions conducted under Tripsvale are validated and managed by Horizon Travel.By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the services offered by the Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not proceed with any bookings or use our services.
2. Booking & Payment Terms
2.1 Booking Confirmation:
All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation from the Company. A booking shall only be considered confirmed upon receipt of the required advance payment and issuance of a confirmation invoice.
2.2 Payment Obligations:
A minimum non-refundable booking amount of ₹4000 per person is required to secure any reservation.
The full payment of the tour package price must be completed prior to the departure date as specified in the invoice.
All prices are subject to fluctuations due to changes in exchange rates, airline fares, supplier pricing, and government-imposed taxes.
2.3 Confidentiality of Booking Details:
The Company shall withhold disclosure of booking details, including hotel reservations, flight tickets, and itinerary specifics, until full payment for the tour package has been received from the Client.
3.Cancellation & Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellation Requests:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to the Company. The date on which the cancellation request is received shall determine the applicable refund policy.
3.2 Refund Policy:
45-30 days prior to departure: Full refund, except the non-refundable booking amount of ₹4000.
29-15 days prior to departure: 50% of the total package cost will be deducted.
14-7 days prior to departure: 75% of the total package cost will be deducted.
Less than 7 days prior to departure: No refund shall be issued.
3.3 Third-Party Cancellations:
Flight, hotel, and transportation cancellations shall be governed by the respective airline, hotel, or service provider policies, and the Company shall not be held liable for any cancellation charges imposed by these third parties.
4.Responsibilities & Liabilities
4.1 Intermediary Role:
The Company acts solely as an intermediary between the Client and third-party service providers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, transportation companies, and tour operators. The Company shall not be liable for any delays, service failures, cancellations, or disruptions caused by these third parties.
4.2 Client Responsibilities:
The Client shall ensure they possess valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and other necessary travel documents before departure.
The Client shall comply with all local laws, customs regulations, and immigration policies of the destination country.
4.3 Limited Liability:
The Company shall not be held responsible for any loss of baggage, personal belongings, delays, accidents, injuries, medical emergencies, or other inconveniences incurred during travel.
5.Travel Documentation
5.1 Accuracy of Information:
The Client must provide accurate personal information, including name, date of birth, and passport details, for all bookings. Any errors or discrepancies may result in additional costs or denied travel, for which the Client shall be solely responsible.5.2 Compliance with Regulations:
The Client shall comply with all airline, immigration, and hotel regulations. The Company shall not be liable for denied boarding, visa rejections, or any penalties incurred due to non-compliance.
6.Travel Insurance & Medical Conditions
6.1Travel Insurance:
The Company strongly recommends that all Clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and travel disruptions.6.2 Medical Fitness:
Clients with pre-existing medical conditions must seek medical advice prior to booking. The Company shall not be responsible for any health-related issues arising during the trip.
7. Amendments & Itinerary Changes
7.1 Modification Requests:
Any amendments to an existing booking are subject to approval by the Company and may incur additional charges based on supplier policies.7.2 Company’s Right to Alter Itinerary:
The Company reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, flights, or other travel arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, government restrictions, political unrest, operational issues, or force majeure events..
8. Client Conduct & Compliance
8.1 Behavioral Expectations:
Clients must behave respectfully and responsibly throughout their trip. Any misconduct, illegal activity, property damage, or violation of local laws may result in immediate termination of services without any refund or compensation.8.2 Compliance with Destination Laws:
Clients are required to abide by the customs, immigration, and health regulations of the destination country. The Company shall not be liable for any legal consequences arising from non-compliance.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 Exemption from Liability:
The Company shall not be held liable for cancellations, service failures, or disruptions due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, etc.).
Pandemics, epidemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions.
Civil unrest, strikes, acts of terrorism, or war-like situations.
Technical failures or operational issues beyond the Company’s control.
10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
10.1 Jurisdiction:
Any disputes arising under these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.
10.2 Resolution Mechanism:
Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through mutual discussion and mediation. If unresolved, legal proceedings may be initiated under Indian law.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with a booking, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the above Terms & Conditions. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at its sole discretion, and continued use of its services shall constitute acceptance of any changes.
CANCELLATION
This Cancellation is sets forth the terms and conditions applicable to the cancellation of tour packages booked with Tripsvale, a travel company based in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, operating under the parent company Horizon Travel. By making a booking with Tripsvale, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms outlined herein.
1. Cancellation by the Customer
1.1 If a customer wishes to cancel a booked tour, a written request for cancellation must be submitted via email to cancellation@tripsvale.com from the email ID registered with Tripsvale at the time of booking. Cancellation requests made through oral communication, telephone, SMS, or any other form of communication shall not be considered valid.
1.2 The cancellation request must contain the following details:
- Full name(s) of the traveler(s)
- Tour code or booking reference number
- Registered mobile number
- Reason for cancellation
- Copy of receipts issued by Tripsvale (Horizon Travel)
1.3 Upon cancellation, any subsequent booking will be treated as a new and separate booking, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
1.4 If a tour is booked on a sharing basis, and one of the co-travelers cancels their participation, the remaining traveler(s) shall be liable to pay the revised cost applicable for a single occupancy tour.
2. Cancellation Charges
2.1 In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation fees shall be applicable:
- 45-30 days prior to departure: Full refund, except for the non-refundable booking amount of ₹4000 per person.
- 29-15 days prior to departure: 50% of the total package cost will be deducted.
- 14-7 days prior to departure: 75% of the total package cost will be deducted.
- Less than 7 days prior to departure or no-show: No refund shall be issued.
2.2 Airline Ticket Cancellation & Deposit Forfeiture Charges:
Any airline ticket cancellation shall be subject to the airline’s cancellation policy. Additional charges imposed by the airline must be borne by the customer.
The Company is not liable for any refund of air tickets beyond what is permitted by the airline.
2.3 Non-Refundable Components:
- Visa fees and travel insurance premiums are strictly non-refundable once processed.
- Hotel and transport cancellations shall be governed by the respective hotel and service provider policies.
3. Booking Amount
3.1 A non-refundable booking amount of ₹4000 per person is required to confirm a tour package.
3.2 In case of cancellation, this amount shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
4. Cancellation by Tripsvale
4.1 The Company reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:
Government-imposed travel restrictions
Natural disasters, pandemics, or extreme weather conditions
Operational or technical issues beyond the Company’s control
4.2 In such cases, the following options will be provided to the customer:
- A full refund (excluding any non-refundable service charges already paid to third-party vendors).
- An alternative tour package of equal value, subject to availability.
5. Refund Process
5.1 Refunds shall be processed within 7-14 business days from the date of cancellation approval.
5.2 All refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment.
5.3 Any bank fees, transaction charges, or payment gateway deductions shall be borne by the customer and will be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Rescheduling & Amendments
6.1 Customers may request modifications to an existing booking; however, all changes are subject to:
Availability of alternative travel dates or packages
Additional charges imposed by hotels, airlines, or service providers
6.2 The Company reserves the right to approve or deny any amendment request at its sole discretion.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
7.1 This Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
7.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.
By proceeding with a booking, the customer acknowledges, agrees, and consents to the terms outlined in this Cancellation Policy. The Company reserves the right to modify these terms at its discretion without prior notice.
